When everything is off kilter, what remains?

TILT

Tilt is an exhilarating, boundary-pushing, tender and triumphant attempt to keep some kind of balance in a desperately unstable world. This aerial dance theatre show from Croí Glan Integrated Dance Company will take to the skies above Cork with a multi-talented, international cast of five diverse performers.

Tilt,
choreographed by Tara Brandel, spans the fragility of the human body and the endurance of the human spirit. Conceived as an idea in 2019 and made ever more relevant by crises at home and abroad, Tilt centres around a very versatile pole that circles, falls and flies as a metaphor for instability and change in an unstable world. In the historic and spectacular surrounds of the Port of Cork, the production boasts twerking, street dance, aerial, Irish and contemporary dance with live looping harmonica and song.

Tilt
promises thrills, spills and humour, while reflecting on our longing for intimacy and human connection through all our diversity and our troubling times.
